Town welcomes visitors

Volunteers man booth Just off Highway 1 in Grenfell there is a little building that plays a vital role in the town’s summer tourism season. The cosy tourist booth opened its door on July 1 and has seen more than 450 visitors this month. The booth will remain open daily 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Aug.31. Inside the booth there are a variety of maps, pamphlets and flyers providing information about local attractions such as the Adare Museum and the library.
